Production of lightweight coated and supercalendered paper
2011 A large-scale modernization was completed, a modern production of lightweight coated paper from hardwood raw materials was built: workshops for the preparation of raw materials and the production of bleached thermomechanical pulp, a new paper machine
2013 Industrial production of new products, lightweight coated and supercalendered paper was launched

1987-1990
KAMA Pulp and Paper Mill’s modernization
1987 A transport and packaging line of Wärtsila was commissioned. The line can label and pack 2,400 rolls of paper per day
1988 A complex for biological treatment of industrial effluents with a capacity of 437,000 m3 per day was commissioned at the treatment facilities. A new workshop for the production of thermomechanical mass with a capacity of 50,000 tons of thermomechanical mass per year was built. Bleaching is produced with hydrogen peroxide. The equipment was supplied by Mitsubishi (Japan)
1990 Production capacity of the mill: paper — 256,800 tons, pulp for cooking — 175,000 tons, wood pulp — 90,000 tons, school notebooks — 255,000,000 pieces
1982-1984
Put into commission Voith’ installation
1982 The flat-mesh paper machine was replaced by a machine with a two-mesh forming device of Voith with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year — this is the basis for the production of coated paper
1984 Coated installation Voith was assembled and commissioned
1967-1971
Recognition of the merits of the KAMA Pulp and Paper Mill
1967 The staff of the mill was awarded the red banner of the USSR Council of Ministers for success in socialist competition in honor of the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. (The banner is presented in the historical showcase of the mill’s administration building)
1971 The staff of the Kama Pulp and Paper Mill was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. (The Order is presented in the historical showcase of the mill's administration building)
1955-1961
Reconstruction of the mill and start the first production of coated paper in the USSR
1955-1959 A project was being developed for a large-scale reconstruction of the mill in order to launch new products
1961 For the first time in the USSR, the production of coated paper was started, the machine operator of the mill, Vasily Rogachev, who made the first batch, received the title of Hero of Socialist Labor
1941-1946
Working for the needs of the Motherland during the wartime
1941 The plant was being rebuilt to work for the needs of the country's defense, besides sulfite cellulose, printing, offset, writing paper and student notebooks, it began producing fodder yeast, ethyl alcohol and even gunpowder
1946 For selfless work during the Second World War, the staff of the mill was awarded the banner of the State Defense Committee
1938
KAMA Pulp and Paper Mill became the most productive in Europe, and Krasnokamsk received the status of a city

The first batch of paper was made on a Soviet paper machine

Construction of the mill
1929 The site for the future pulp and paper mill was chosen. The settlement of the mill's constructors was named Kamabumstroy
1930 The official set up of the pulp and paper mill is the 14th of July. The first production unit, a brewhouse is commissioned
1933 The settlement of Kamabumstroy was renamed Krasnokamsk
